During the weeks we’ve been at home in alarm, many parents have taken advantage of Google’s augmented reality engine features to share playful and educational moments with their children.
Thanks to this, Google’s 3D animals became one of the confinement trends, but the Big G’s AR offers much more content to enjoy. A few weeks ago we offered you a complete list of 3D animals and other figures that you can see in the search engine, so if you are curious and have not yet experimented with this function, be sure to check it out.
Now, the Mountain View company has announced a new addition to its AR engine that is sure to delight millions of users. 3D dinosaurs have come to Google Search, so that you can admire them through your mobile phone directly in your living room, on your street or in the closest park.
Recreating the Jurassic Park movie in your environment couldn’t be easier. All you have to do is enter the Google search engine through your mobile browser or use the Google app, enter the name of the dinosaur species that you would like to see, and if you have a smartphone that supports the AR you will see in a box a message like the one we show you a little lower in the image.
Next, touch the button View in 3D, move the mobile when the system tells you to and soon you will see the specimen on the ground in front of you. If you want, you can immortalize the moment and take a photo of yourself by tapping the camera’s shutter button.
