The Ada County Prosecutor’s Office announced through a press release that the Idaho man, Thomas Rowley, will face life imprisonment after fatally killing his son.
Idaho Man Brutally Kills His 4-Month-Old Son
Thomas Rowley, now 25 years old, was accused of murdering his 4-month-old son identified as Milo Rowley in June 2020. Police investigation at that time found that he had severely shaken his son to death before dropping him face first in his crib.
In a published article in FOX News, the child was rushed to St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center to be treated. However, the 4-month-old child was already unresponsive and not breathing. It was also found that the boy suffered from brain injury.
The boy was later pronounced dead in the hospital. Moreover, it was found that Rowley hit the 4-month-old boy on several occasions before the tragic death of the child.

Idaho Man Will Face Life in Prison
Ada County District Judge James S. Cawthon ordered life imprisonment against Thomas Rowley on May 22. He was found guilty of first-degree murder following the death of his son. The sentence also states that there will be a possibility of parole after a minimum of 25 years, according to a published article in SY FEED.
Ada County Prosecutor Jan Bennetts said, “I recognize no sentence handed down today can ease the unbearable loss to Milo’s family. On behalf of my office, I extend our sincerest condolences to Milo’s mother and family. The abuse and homicide of a child is heartbreaking, and I want to acknowledge the tireless efforts by all who worked on this case, from my trial team, the medical experts, to the Boise Police Detectives whose dedication and hard work on this homicide allowed my office to successfully prosecute and serve justice in this case.”
