A Georgia prison guard and a jail nurse were arrested early Friday for allegedly giving contraband such as drugs, alcohol, and guns to the inmates.
Georgia Prison Guard Officer and Jail Nurse Were Arrested
Georgia prison guard officer Tabitha Clifton, of LaGrange, and jail nurse Jessica Castellanos, of Hampton, were both arrested on Friday night after they were alleged of supplying and giving contraband to the inmates. During the investigation, it was found that they gave the inmates alcohol, drugs, and including guns.
In a published article in FOX News, the authorities did not give many details about the other contraband they gave to the inmates. Both of them are now being held at the Clayton County Jail and will face the charges filed against to them.
Moreover, Clifton will face a charge for violating her oath of office. On the other hand. Castellanos is also accused of obstructing an officer. Furthermore, it is now known until now if Clifton and Castellanos hired lawyers to defend them against the allegations.

Another Correction Officer Was Arrested
The arrest of Castellanos and Clifton came less than 24 hours after another Clayton Officer was arrested for orchestration of an attack on an inmate, according to a report published in US NEWS.
A report from a news outlet stated that Officer Sean Hollinshead placed an inmate into a high-rish housing unit where he was beaten and stabbed. It was also found that Hollinshead did not give immediate treatment to the inmate.
