Boston Authority released a statement that an alleged serial rapist, killer, and kidnapper has already been identified after a decade of searching, it was identified through an advanced forensic genealogy and DNA analysis.
The suspect was now revealed as a working attorney in New York City. Many people were shocked that the mysterious serial rapist and kidnapper is just working around the corner. He was Mathew J. Nilo, 35, who formerly lived in the North End of Boston. He is a cyber attorney in New York City and earned his law degree at the University of San Francisco.
He graduated from Boston Latin School in 2006. Wednesday, he was arrested around 4:40 pm at his home. He was accused of sexually assaulting four women in the Terminal Street area last August 18, 2007, another one was August 5, 2008, and lastly on December 23, 2008. According to the Police, he was still a college student when the crime happened. around the age of 19 or 20. Now, he is arraigned with three counts of aggravated rape, kidnappings, and one count of assault resulting in rape and battery. At a press conference on Tuesday, the FBI said that the investigation is successful with the use of genetic genealogy, a unique and modern method used to generate new leads of unsolved rape cases, homicides, and other victims of violent crimes.
