Building In New Medical School In Yale Partially Collapsed, 8 Construction Workers Injured
Friday, when the workers pouring went awry the constructed building partially collapsed and there were 8 construction workers injured. This building is near Yale University and it’s medical school.
This building is in New Haven and it is still under construction when it collapsed. According to Fire Chief John Alston Jr. the reason behind it it’s that there is too much concrete pooled in one area after it was poured faster and they could spread it. They immediately responded to the victims because it is too much dangerous for them because the concrete is already drying and they might stuck in it.
Some construction workers have broken bones, were buried, and had minor injuries, they were rushed to the nearby hospital. He even added that the responders have been talking of some collapses after what happened in Davenport, Iowa where three people are feared dead after a partial building collapses also.

8 Construction Workers Injured In A Partially Collapsed Building In New Medical School In Yale
One of the witnesses Danean Doheny said during an interview that they heard a crash and they immediately jumped up. He said that it was too crazy and he is very scared of what happened and now he is glad that most of the part is ok because he is working on the fourth floor of a beside the building who collapsed. Police and respondents sent some dogs to the area to make sure that there is no one else trapped in the area.
