Danny Masterson Against His Rape Conviction
Former 70’s actor Danny Masterson is now facing his rape conviction after he was convicted of two counts of rape coming from two unrelated incidents last 2003. Reports regarding the rape conviction against Masterson came from the District Attorney‘s Office of Los Angeles County. After several days of deliberation, the jury was still unable to reach an agreement after the third victim, Chrissie Carnell-Bixler herself, came forward against Masterson during the deliberation.
“I thank the jury for its service, and while I’m encouraged that Danny Masterson will face some criminal punishment, I am devastated that he has dodged criminal accountability for his heinous conduct against me,” Carnell-Bixler commented on Masterson’s rape conviction during an interview with Rolling Stone.
Masterson’s attorney was unable to respond immediately to a request for comment regarding his rape conviction made by PEOPLE. Masterson was put back into custody shortly after the verdict.
