Three teenagers, including a 13-year-old girl, were shot at two apparent Airbnb parties in Philadelphia in the latest violence linked to illegal use of the vacation-rental platform, police said.
3 Teens Were Shot Within Hours Who Attends Party In Airbnb
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, there are three teenagers including a 13-year-old girl were fatally shot after attending a party at two apparent Airbnb in Philadelphia.
The parties turns out violent after the shooting this is also linked to an illegal use of vacation rental platforms. Philadelphia police released a statement that the shooting broke out dozens of youngsters who attended the booked Airbnb parties that night, although the company did not release any statement if the shooting is connected with the illegal rental.
The first shooting is around 9:00 p.m. on Amber Street in Kensington where an 18-year-old male was shot in the abdomen, the wounded teen was immediately rushed in Temple University Hospital to be treated and was in stable condition.

Airbnb Party Turns Out Violent After 3 Teens Shot Within Hours
The second shooting took place at North 29th Street in Brewery town, less than two hours later at 11:50 p.m. including the 13-year-old teen. She was already transported to the nearest Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and was listed also in stable condition. Police says that there were no weapons recovered in the crime scene and suspects where no where to found. The company is now investigating the case and cancelled all the rental platforms as of the moment.
