Georgia approves the $17.3 million infrastructure loans and grants.
Lilburn, Georgia
Georgia authorities have approved the $17.3 million loans and grants from the Georgia Transportation Infrastructure Bank. These funds will support seven transportation infrastructure projects throughout the state.
Jannine Miller, the Executive Director of the State Road and Tollway Authority, highlighted that transportation projects often come with significant upfront costs. By offering grants and low-interest loans, the state makes these projects more affordable and alleviates pressure on local budgets.
