The Madison Forward Fund will send a total of $500 dollars to an approximately 155 homes in Madison, Wisconsin. The fund are usually sent to the recipients on the first day of every month however, the release of the money was expedited as July First is on a Saturday.
The recipients of Madison Forward Fund are allowed to spend the money given to them, in anyway the want.
The Madison Forward Fund manager stated that the program will run for a year, with the first money issuance happened September of last year, and this coming August, recipients will get their final payment.
The recipients of the Madison Forward Fund program are required to be residents of Madison, Wisconsin, be at least 18 years old, and have at least a kid age 17 and below, living with them.
Furthermore, recipients must have an annual income of less than 200% of the federal poverty line, which could vary depending on the number of individuals in the family.
Every six months, recipients will be requested to complete 30-minute online surveys. The responses given on the surveys are fully secret, and respondents will be paid $30 for each survey completed.
The Madison Forward Fund program only picked 155 families to receive a monthly payment, however another 200 families are eligible to participate in the surveys.
