At least 13 individuals were injured in the shooting, stabbing, or vehicular incidents a Syracuse street gathering in New York, Sunday morning, police say.

According to a press release from Syracuse police spokesman Lt. Matthew Malinowski, a chaotic incident unfolded at around 12:22 a.m. on the 100 block of Davis Street on the west side of the city.
A large crowd consisting of hundreds of people had gathered at this location when the shooting happened, according to NY Post.
During the incident, four individuals sustained gunshot wounds and required medical attention. Additionally, five people suffered lacerations, while four others were struck by vehicles. However, Malinowski assured the public in a news release that all the victims are expected to survive their injuries.

The gathering was a block party that had been promoted on social media. As recounted by a neighbor, a fight occurred shortly before midnight but was quickly resolved. However, approximately 20 minutes later, another altercation broke out, followed by a barrage of numerous gunshots.
The victims of the shooting included a 17-year-old girl who was struck in the hip and midsection, a 20-year-old woman hit in the hip, a 20-year-old man injured in the forearm, and a 22-year-old woman who was hit in the abdomen.
The police did not provide any information regarding arrests or the identification of suspects involved in the incident. Malinowski stated that the investigation is currently active and ongoing, according to CNN News.
