The California teen, was fatally shot during a party in a house around Sunset Drive and Washington Boulevard, proximate to Livingston. The Merced County Sheriff’s Office received a call and went to the area where they found California teen; Lili Zaragoza, who was dead due to a fatal gunshot wound along with one other who sustained critical wounds from the shooting, reported by KSEE/KGPE.
The family of California teen is seeking help to find funds to cover the costs for Zaragoza’s funeral through a GoFundMe fundraiser. Aracely Meza, the California teen’s mother released a statement saying that her daughter, Zaragoza asked her if her mother trusted her.
Meza pointed out that she trusted the California teen but not the people who will be present at the house party. California teen, Zaragoza, was a fresh graduate student from a phlebotomy school, leaving her family rueful.
As stated by the page, the California teen recently started a GoFundMe fundraiser intended to raise money for her father’s funeral. The page reached out to people to help raise money for the California teen’s wake.
The page expressed, “With our heart broken in a million pieces we come to ask our Friends and Family to come together. All donations will go to helping us put our beloved Lili to rest.”
The culprit, Josiah Williams age 22, has been taken by the Merced County Sheriff’s Office into custody for killing the California teen, Williams is charged for murder.
More details regarding Williams’ charges still remain vague.
