Seniors and People Living With Disabilities Set To Receive Cash Assistance In Pennsylvania
People over 65 and people living with disabilities often struggle to make ends meet with their present condition, especially if they are alone in life. Basic needs like food, clothing, housing, etc., would be a struggle to find and maintain while living with disabilities. Luckily for Pennsylvanians, help is on the way in the form of cash assistance from the state. Seniors and people living with disabilities are the program’s sole recipients.
The state’s Department of Revenue will start to give out cash assistance to seniors and people living with disabilities who applied for the state’s program. The funds will be coming from the $132 million budget of the state.

How Many Seniors And People Living With Disabilities Would Benefit From The Program
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, the state ranks 5th in America for having residents over 65. According to another study conducted by the Lancaster County Office Of Aging in 2020, one of every four residents within the state is aged over 60
Seniors and people living with disabilities are still welcome to apply for the program by simply registering through the Department of Revenue’s website. The Department is currently offering additional assistance in registering for the program. Over 170,000 Pennsylvanians who are seniors and living with disabilities are set to receive assistance from the state’s program.
