A North Carolina state trooper who was trying to help a stranded driver was shot in his protective vest before he killed the motorist who fired at him.
A Stranded Driver Near Asheville Fatally Shot NC Trooper
According to a report, an NC Trooper was hard shot in the chest after having an argument with a stranded driver in traffic.
NC Trooper Dunlap was shot in his chest around 7:30 p.m. by a stranded driver in traffic along the Interstate 25, North Carolina road. Police released a statement that, Trooper Jeffrey Dunlap who is serving the country for about 13 years is now brought to the hospital after being wounded in the chest with a gunshot. The witness said that the NC Trooper was just trying to save him in a traffic issue but ended up in an argument and the suspect immediately got his gun and fired the NC Trooper.
He didn’t know what happened and why is the suspect was angry maybe because he was just trying to tell him about the traffic rule but the suspect ended up firing him the good thing he has a bulletproof vest and was just wounded.
Fatally Shot NC Trooper By A Stranded Driver Near Asheville
The report said that because the NC troop was just trying to save himself which is shown in a security camera, there will be no criminal charges to put him. NC Trooper Dunlap shot in return Wesley Scott Taylor 57 years old just to protect himself. Taylor is dead after NC Trooper shot him back. If you protect yourself from being killed then there will be no charges to put. Police will still continue to investigate the crime.
