According to testimony given against Caleb Rogers during the trial, Rogers’ brother said that he participated in the first heist with Caleb Rogers but not the other two.
According to reports from the trial, the prosecution contended that Caleb Rogers had a gambling addiction and was heavily in debt.
As stated by the U.S. According to the District of Nevada’s Attorney’s Office, on November 21, 2021, Caleb Rogers robbed the first casino in west Las Vegas and made off with $73,810; on January 6, 2023, he robbed the second casino in the city’s northern region.
At that time, he took $11,500. In those two robberies, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he “walked right to the casino’s cashier cage and demanded money from the cashiers.”
The third theft took place on February 27, 2022. He reportedly “ran toward two casino employees in the sportsbook area and yelled: ‘Get away from the money.
I’ve got a gun. I will shoot you!’” during the incident.
Before stealing $78,898, he pushed one of the cashiers to the ground.
Caleb Rogers raced into the parking lot when staff members set off the casino’s alarm. He was being tackled by a security officer when Rogers pulled out a revolver and threatened to shoot the man.
He was disarmed when further guards arrived.
Officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department showed up and detained Caleb Rogers. His revolver’s serial number was verified, and they discovered that it belonged to the department.
For each count of robbery interfering with business, Caleb Rogers could receive a sentence of up to 20 years.
