According to an article published by DigitalTrends, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, recently pledged to hold the Tesla Cybertruck delivery event in the third quarter of this year, which means it should happen by September.
However, the corporation hasn’t yet provided the event’s precise timings.
The first Cybertrucks will be delivered to their new owners as part of the delivery rollout, but Tesla has previously stated that volume production of the pickup won’t start until 2024.
Tesla unveiled the Tesla Cybertruck in 2019 with the intention of starting volume production by the end of 2021; however, the deadline was delayed multiple times.
According to reports, more than 1 million people have placed preorders for the futuristic-looking Tesla Cybertruck after making a $100 refundable deposit.
How much does a Cybertruck cost?
Near the end of 2021, Tesla’s website removed the pricing information for its new Tesla Cybertruck, which at the time displayed three models with prices ranging from $39,900 to $69,900 depending on factors including the number of electric motors, towing capability, and range.
It is generally believed that the final prices will be higher.
Musk tweeted, “This is gonna be astounding… feels like we are in the future,” after visiting the Tesla Cybertruck production line in Austin in April.
However, in 2021, Musk acknowledged that there was a “some chance that the Tesla Cybertruck will flop” because to the vehicle’s unconventional design.
Those people in the picture will undoubtedly be hoping for the former given the amount of time and effort that has gone into the Tesla Cybertruck.
