SNAP’s Food Assistance also known as Food Stamps
As per data published by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, 822,600 Louisiana residents were granted food stamp assistance. This is a program for families with low incomes, and in this way, residents can pay for their food necessities.
There are considerations for each household member in order to receive this assistance. If a family comprises eight members, they will receive a maximum payment of 1,691; if there are only three in the family, 740 will be allotted to them.
