Former Mount Morris Teacher In Michigan Arrested For Smuggling Drugs Inside The Cell
Friday, a report coming from the officials came after a Michigan teacher is arrested for smuggling drugs, money, and cellphone to the prisoners who disguise to be as working jail guards.
A 54-year-old Meredith Leyrer, A former Teacher in Michigan was arrested and will be charged for producing and bringing drugs and some things that are against the jail protocol according to the video in the fakebook posted by Genesee County Sheriff Christopher Swanson. According to the report, Leyrer is an educator for the Inmate Growth Naturally and Intentionally Through Education (IGNITE) program, officials say that she is started abusing his role last December, she started giving and producing some illegal things inside the correctional facility. Meredith Leyrer was also a former Mount Morris High School who is a partner of IGNITE group, this school.
This Teacher in Michigan is allegedly putting more than $630 into three prisoners’ accounts last December and began smuggling some drugs also that time.

The crime was caught in a CCTV video from the jail that the Teacher in Michigan passed over 100 100 fentanyl pills to an inmate inside a folder, she was also found sneaking some cellphones into the inmates. Swanson who trusted Leyrer so much said that he is very disappointed and the Teacher in Michigan burst into tears after knowing Swanson’s feelings.
