According to police, the driver of a stolen car was apprehended after striking 10 individuals in Manhattan on Tuesday night.
In a report from PEOPLE, on 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue, it occurred during rush hour.
The incident began when the driver attempted to elude the officers who were pursuing the stolen car. According to authorities, as he did so, he ran into two cars, a 6-year-old pedestrian, and other pedestrians.
At 45th Street and Second Avenue at 5:30 p.m., police said a license plate reader alerted them to the stolen maroon Hyundai. Because of the dense traffic, they pursued the vehicle at a modest pace.
The driver of the stolen car then struck a bicyclist on Lexington Avenue between 42nd and 43rd Streets, struck a yellow cab closer to 42nd Street, made a U-turn in the middle of Lexington and 42nd Streets, and struck a black livery cab driver as well as pedestrians.

Carlos Cabrera, a witness, claimed, “He pulled the gas off the stolen car, passed the bus, and hit the yellow cab.” After hitting him, the driver of the yellow cab “went on the sidewalk and hit the people on the street using the stolen car.”
In a published article from CBS News, the reckless driver of a stolen car was later apprehended as witnesses watched as good Samaritans caught up with him. The motorist, who is 20 years old and unlicensed in New York State, was reported by the police. He is facing charges.
According to officials, the injured individuals ranged in age from 6 to 72. Eight of them were taken to Bellevue Medical Center, but only two wanted to be treated.
Abrasions and damage to the ankles were among the injuries, but none of them are life-threatening.
The driver of the stolen car is in custody now.
