Nearly 2 months after ‘Everwood’ actor Treat Williams died in a fatal motorcycle accident, the driver of the vehicle that crashed into Treat Williams’ motorcycle was charged with Grossly Negligent Operation.’
During the fatal motorcycle accident Koss, a 35-year-old man from Dorset, was driving an SUV when it turned in front of the actor Treat Williams’ motorcycle.
The driver of the vehicle that crashed into actor Treat Williams’ motorcycle in June is now facing charges related to the fatal motorcycle accident.
Ryan M. Koss, the driver, has been charged with “grossly negligent operation” following the completion of an investigation by the Bennington County State’s Attorney’s office. The charges are in relation to the fatal motorcycle accident that took the life of the veteran actor, Treat Williams.
Koss was contacted by Vermont State police and was said to have willingly met with them at the Shaftsbury Barracks. He was then charged for the fatal motorcycle accident and released.
The Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Williams died due to severe trauma and loss caused by the fatal motorcycle accident.
In a Page Six report, polices stated that Williams suffered critical injuries during the fatal motorcycle accident and was airlifted to Albany Medical Center in New York where he was declared dead.
According to onlookers, despite the severe injuries the veteran actor sustained during the fatal motorcycle accident, he was still conscious and was able to communicate with the paramedics.
One onlooker stated that Williams was alert and was answering questions after the fatal motorcycle accident he was involved. It was also noted that when the fatal motorcycle accident happened, Williams was wearing a helmet.
Koss is scheduled to appear in court on September 25th for arraignment for the fatal motorcycle accident.
