The husband of the woman whose remains were discovered in three different floating suitcases last July 21 has been finally arrested according to authorities of Delray Beach Police.
In the report published by NBC South Florida, Police Chief Russ Mager of Delray Beach said that William Lowe Jr., 78, had been charged with first-degree murder. According to authorities, he was also accused of improperly dismembering a human body.

Aydil Barbosa Fontes, 80, was the victim, according to the police. The medical examiner concluded that a gunshot wound to the head killed Barbosa Fontes.

In a report published by CBS News ,on July 22, investigators set out on a sea trip, and they discovered two more floating suitcases containing human remains. Five floating suitcases in total were discovered in the intracoastal waterway inside the boundaries of Delray Beach, according to Det. Mike Liberta, who oversaw the investigation. Liberta stated that one little pocketbook, one tote-style purse, and three were suitcases.
Delray Beach Police Chief Russ Mager stated at a news conference on Thursday that detectives were working round-the-clock to investigate the “heinous crime.” involving the floating suitcases found in intracoastal waterway.
In a report published by CBS News , Lowe appeared in court and entered a not-guilty plea. According to online records, he is being detained in the Palm Beach County Jail since no bond was authorized. Police continue to look for a reason.
