In a report published by U.S News, authorities in the city of Lancaster, police killed a man using an issued gun, and the victim was alleged to be a burglary suspect after they said he pointed a gun at them as he exited an unattended home.
According to a police statement, the officers went to the house early on Sunday, just after midnight, in response to a report of a burglary in progress. A resident of the house allegedly informed them that the invader was still inside when they arrived.
When the intruder faced the policemen and pointed a gun at them, according to the department, they fired their weapons and the police killed a man, striking the intruder, who later passed away in the hospital.

In a recently published news from The Tribune-Democrat, in addition to the department’s statement not mentioning how many police fired shots, his name wasn’t immediately made public.
The district attorney’s office for Lancaster County was allegedly contacted to look into the incident of the police killed a man. The investigation was confirmed by the prosecutors, who also reported that the suspect’s gun had been found.
