A singer has filed a new lawsuit against comedian Actor Bill Cosby, alleging that Cosby drugged and raped her in the late 1980s.

Morganne Picard, the plaintiff, accused Actor Bill Cosby, 86, of inviting the aspiring musician to The Cosby Show set in 1987 when she claimed he “insisted and encouraged” her to drink substances that made her feel “extremely intoxicated” on “multiple occasions” between then and 1990, according to paperwork filed under the Adult Survivors Act that was seen by PEOPLE.
Picard claimed she was sexually assaulted and knocked out after drinking at the home of actor Bill Cosby. She later claimed to have woken up “naked with soreness in her vagina” in a hotel room.
According to information and belief, Actor Bill Cosby undressed and sexually assaulted Ms. Picard without her knowledge or consent and when she was unable to give consent, according to the lawsuit.

Astoria Studios LP II, the Carsey-Warner Company, NBCUniversal, and Kaufman Astoria Studios were also named as defendants in the document because they “did not investigate, reprimand, supervise, or in any other way try to stop Actor Bill Cosby from sexually abusing, assaulting, and/or battering women.”
The Carsey-Warner Company, NBCUniversal, and Kaufman Astoria Studios did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment on Saturday. However, it was impossible to get in touch with Astoria Studios LP II for comment.
With regard to battery, assault, and purposeful infliction of emotional distress, Picard is s
pecifically suing Actor Bill Cosby. She is bringing negligence and negligent hiring claims against the other defendants.
Former Playmate model Victoria Valentino sued actor Bill Cosby in Los Angeles County Superior Court in June, claiming that he drugged and sexually assaulted her after they crossed paths in 1969. In a statement given to PEOPLE at the time, Wyatt described the lawsuit as an assault on “the Black men in America.”
Numerous women have accused Actor Bill Cosby of sexual assault in complaints that date back to 2000. The allegations against Cosby span several decades of his career and include rape, sexual battery, inappropriate behavior, and sexual harassment. He was accused of three Class II felony counts of aggravated indecent assault in December 2015; the trial ended in a mistrial in 2017.
Actor Bill Cosby — who over 60 women have been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting them — was convicted on three counts of aggravated indecent assault and sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2018. Then, in 2021, he was freed after his conviction was overturned.
