A police officer in the United Kingdom arrested a 16-year-old girl with Autism Spectrum Disorder after she commented on an officer who resembled her lesbian nanny.
Police being too harsh to the teenage girl
Police had been condemned for being too harsh after an autistic teenage girl was apprehended by seven cops after remarking that “a female officer looked like her lesbian nana.”
Authorities had been transporting the 16-year-old, who also has scoliosis, to her home in Leeds, West Yorkshire, around midnight shortly after she purportedly said the comments.
The mother of the teenage girl said that her daughter had panic attacks after the law enforcement personnel mistreated her child. The mother expresses her sadness in the video footage that she released, saying that the police officers were able to improperly handle the situations and that this is how police officers treat autistic children.
Youngster commented on cop that looks like a lesbian
In a published article on Fox News, according to a video of the incident, police in the United Kingdom took into custody a teenage girl, whose mother indicated she has Autism, when the youngster remarked that one of the cops looked like a lesbian.
West Yorkshire Police reported they escorted the child back when a family member informed that she was inebriated at a neighboring department store.
