The Oceanside Police holds a retirement ceremony for a police dog, Veteran K-9 Jenko.

A police dog K-9 named Jenko was given a retirement ceremony at the Oceanside Police Department on Saturday. K-9 Jenko located 200 suspects during his 6 years of public service.
In a report by ABC News, the 7-year-old Belgian Malinois is a police dog with a dual purpose. Certified in both patrol work and narcotics detection. Jenko is also a police dog that served as a k-9 attachment to the SWAT team and served in high risk according to Oceanside PD.
In another report published by The Times of San Diego, Jenko is a police dog that serves as the assistant with more than 50 narcotics and evidence seizures including the $25,000 in currency. He also recovered five firearms and 100 kilograms of narcotics. He is also a police dog that is responsible for locating 200 suspects, including 15 felony suspects. He is also a police dog which is quite an achiever. He competed in many competitions, garnering numerous top-five finishes in different categories.

Jenko is a police dog that works with 3 different k-9 handlers. He finished his career on Saturday with Oceanside PD Officer Marshall, his partner of two years. Jenko is a police dog that will remain in the Marshall on his retirement.
Marshall said that they are happy for the privilege of working with Jenko on different assignments. He was blessed with Jenko especially he saved them from multiple occasions that might get injured. And he is happy to share his home to Jenko for his retirement.
