New Abortion Law

The restrictions were approved this year including the near-ban after the 12 weeks of pregnancy were not questioned and it remains intact.

In a report by POLITICO, The U.S District Judge Catherine Eagles said that there is a halting order of a provision to have surgical abortions that happen on 12 weeks and can only be done at hospitals and not abortion clinics. This is the new abortion law that might take effect on Sunday.

another preliminary injunction is that Eagles extended beyond her temporary decision in June that there is an order preventing the enforcement of a rule that doctors must document the existence of the pregnancy before prescribing a medication abortion, the new abortion law.

The injunction will continue to be in force until a lawsuit brought by Planned Parenthood South Atlantic and a doctor who performs abortions contesting the portions is settled, barring successful appeals by Republican legislative leaders upholding the statutes. The complaint also asks for clarification on whether drugs can be used to induce labor in a fetus that cannot survive outside the uterus during the second trimester.

Another report by CNN.com, For medication abortions, the bill sponsors permitted that at 12 weeks of pregnancy, the new abortion law says that a physician who will describe abortion-inducing drugs must document first the woman’s medical chart and the intrauterine location of the pregnancy.

Eagles wrote that plaintiffs were right about the new abortion law that it is vague and abortion providers claim that they broke the law if they can’t locate an embryo using an ultrasound because the pregnancy is now new. This is the new abortion law flow.
