A 9-year-old girl who was missing in New York State Park while camping two days ago, was found safe and the suspect has been detained.

According to a report by News Boston, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul told CNN on Monday evening that the suspect as for a ransom to the girl’s parents that was disappeared at New York State Park. The fingerprint on the note helped the authorities to find the suspect by tracking it down. Hochul told CNN’s Anderson Cooper. Hochul added that the fingerprints were already on the law enforcement database, but she did not elaborate that there were prior cases in which the suspect had been involved.
The cellphone pings from the people in the New York State Park where Charlotte was last spotted. This also helped the authorities to find her. This evidence helped the authorities to find the suspect and the girl who had disappeared in the New York State Park. According to the police one suspect whom they believe was in the New York State Park at the time that Charlotte went missing, was identified and they searched for homes associated with them. They found Charlotte on Monday at 6:32 by the police.
In another report by NBC News, The governor said that Charlotte who disappeared at New York State Park, is in good health. New York State Police didn’t give additional details of where Charlottes was found and also the details.

Around 6:15 p.m., Charlotte had last been seen. Saturday, she was cycling through the park’s circles. At a press conference on Sunday, New York Governor Kathy Hochul claimed that after performing a few loops with friends, the woman decided to perform one more by herself. After Charlotte’s bike was discovered in the loop without her, her mother reported her missing at 6:45 p.m., according to Lt. Colonel Richard Mazzone of the New York State Police.
The Number of people looking for Charlotte as she disappeared in New York State Park, was 400 people by Monday morning. Those are from 34 volunteers in the fire departments and private groups and also from federal, state, and local law enforcement. before she was found, they searched the area from New York State Park, 45 miles north of Albany, more than 6, 200 acres and amid the hardwood forest, pine stands, and rocky ridges according to the Department of Environmental Conservation.
