A dirt bike rider who was filmed stomping on a woman’s rear windshield in Philadelphia has been arrested with the help of the public. The dirt bike rider, identified as 26-year-old Cody Heron, was caught on camera hitting Nikki Bullock’s car and smashing its window.
Bullock’s children are five and two and were inside the car with her. The incident ended with the dirt bike rider brandishing a gun at Bullock, but no one intervened to help. After the video of the dirt bike rider went viral, outraged members of the public worked to identify the suspect.
The dirt bike rider was arrested in the Frankford section of the city, seven miles from the scene of the incident. The dirt bike rider’s arrest was made thanks to an outflow of feedback and tips from the public.
According to a published article by Daily Mail, the dirt bike rider faces potential charges of attempted murder.
A Message To Other Illegal Riders
In a published article by 6ABC, the dirt bike rider was with a group of ATV and other dirt bike riders. The suspect was found and arrested at his home, where police also recovered the bike, helmet, and gun allegedly used in the incident.
The driver and her children were delivering for Uber Eats at the time of the attack. The arrest aims to send a message to other illegal riders in Philadelphia.
