The suspect for Jimmy Smith III’s death has been charged with open murder and challenging to fight with a deadly weapon.
The North Las Vegas fatal shooting occurred on Monday afternoon, resulting in the death of Jimmy Smith III.
Keara Drayer, suspect for Jimmy Smith III’s death, was apprehended by the Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT), a task force led by the FBI and consisting of representatives from multiple law enforcement departments.
According to a published article by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the suspect for Jimmy Smith III’s death has been booked into the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center.

In a published article by FOX 5 Vegas, the North Las Vegas Police Department is currently investigating the incident that took the life of Jimmy Smith III and has not released any additional information.
The detectives believe this was an isolated incident. The identity of the deceased, which was revealed to be Jimmy Smith III in his early 20s, and the cause of death were disclosed by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
