Violent Confrontation Leads to Attempted Murder Charge in Lexington County Crime Spree
According to wistv.com, Jeremy Allan Boone, a Lexington County man, is facing multiple charges, including an attempted murder charge, following an afternoon crime spree that spanned across several cities and jurisdictions.
The series of incidents began around 2:00 P.M., with Boone allegedly stealing something from a Publix store on Forest Drive and then driving away in his work car leading to an attempted murder charge. He later crashed his car in the Covenant Crossing area, prompting him to flee to the Brickyard Condominiums on Bethel Church Road where he knew someone.
At the condominium complex, a confrontation ensued between Boone and an acquaintance, during which Boone reportedly threatened the victim with a gun and stabbed him in the back with a pocket knife resulting in an attempted murder charge.

Additional Charges Expected as Crime Spree Suspect Faces Attempted Murder Charge
Boone also pointed another gun at the victim, although it was not loaded. After the altercation, Boone stole the victim’s car and left Forest Acres. Fortunately, the victim sustained only minor injuries. Boone continued to commit additional crimes in Richland County before his eventual arrest.
Currently hospitalized, he is expected to face charges from Forest Acres Police, including an attempted murder charge, pointing and presenting a firearm, grand larceny for stealing a motor vehicle, and shoplifting. The Richland County Sheriff’s Department also anticipates filing additional attempted murder charges against Boone in connection with the crime spree.
