In Severance, Colorado, people witnessed a barricaded suspect situation in the Hidden Valley subdivision that ended tragically in a murder-suicide. The police of Severance, Colorado received a 911 call reporting gunshots fired both inside and outside a house.
Severance, Colorado’s law enforcement agencies assisted, but it was determined that the suspect was a juvenile male. He was barricaded in the home in Severance, Colorado with his mother, not as a hostage, but as part of the tense situation.
The Weld County SWAT Team entered the home at Severance, Colorado, and discovered the mother dead from a gunshot wound. The suspect in the Severance, Colorado murder-suicide situation also died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
