According to source, the wildfire in Southern California, known as the Highland Fire, prompted the evacuation of approximately 4,000 residents, and fire officials reported a containment level of at least 25% on Thursday. The wildfire in Southern California has ravaged over 2,500 acres, resulting in the destruction of at least 15 structures and three homes in Riverside County, according to Cal Fire.

The wildfire in Southern California initially ignited around 12:37 p.m. on Monday in Aguanga, California, and continued to rage uncontained through the evening. Fortunately, there have been no reported fatalities, although one person sustained injuries by Thursday. The cause of the wildfire in Southern California remains under investigation, with over 1,100 firefighters responding to the incident.

A smoke advisory issued on Tuesday is still in effect for specific areas in Riverside and Orange counties as of Thursday afternoon. Cal Fire Day Operations Section Chief Justin McGough noted that firefighting crews are contending with challenging winds related to the wildfire in Southern California on Thursday.
