According to source, Stacy Usher, a 39-year-old woman wanted in Citrus County, Florida, for probation violations related to the sale of fentanyl and unlawful use of a two-way communication device, was apprehended on Tuesday night after weeks of evasion by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office had been pursuing her since early November.
Authorities discovered her hiding inside a couch, where she had attempted to evade capture. A photo shared by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office depicted a deputy pulling Usher out from underneath the cushions of the couch.
The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office highlighted Usher’s capture by featuring her arrest as the “Warrant of the Week” on its social media pages following the successful operation. Despite the attention, it remained unclear how Usher had violated her probation.
