A winning Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was purchased in Denham Springs, Louisiana, with the winning numbers being 32, 34, 37, 39, 47, and Powerball number three. The Louisiana Lottery Corporation has stated that the winner who has the Powerball ticket has less than 80 days to claim their prize before it expires on February 10.
Additionally, there are two other individuals with Powerball tickets and unclaimed Powerball prizes, one worth $50,000 that expires in April 2024 and another $50,000 prize that will expire in May if not collected. The odds of having a winning Powerball ticket are one in 292.2 million.
The largest Powerball jackpot in history was won by Edwin Castro in November, who had a winning Powerball ticket and received a total of $2.04 billion. With his winning Powerball ticket, he chose to receive the prize in one sum, receiving $997.6 million.
According to a published article by The US Sun, another winning Powerball ticket worth $1.765 billion was recently purchased in California, but the winner who has the winning Powerball ticket has not yet been identified.
Illinois Powerball Ticket
In a published article by CBS News, lottery officials in Illinois are searching for the owner of an unclaimed Powerball ticket worth $100,000. The ticket was bought at a 7-Eleven store in Aurora last November, and the winning numbers are 2-11-22-35-60, with a Powerball number of 23.
