Texas High School basketball player beat the coach after being benched in the game
High School coach of Basketball in Texas was assaulted by one of his players together with his family in the school’s parking lot. The event happened after the student had been taken out of the game by the coach for being rude to a player on the other team.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office released a statement on their social media and says the attack happened at Willis High School on December 5. When the Willis Independent School District teacher got back to the school after the game, he said that the student and a few others had attacked him.
The coach said that when he got there, the kid and his family were waiting in the parking lot. After some words were exchanged, the student punched the teacher in the face. The brother of the student also joined the fight. Other coaches and onlookers tried to step in and stop the fight. Eventually, the suspects ran away. Head, neck, face, and arm injuries were sustained by the victim during the attack.
