Montana and Washington Offer Tax Refunds, New Mexico Grants Stimulus Payments
On December 31, 2023, Montana will refund Personal Income Taxes up to $1250 for individuals and $2500 for married couples. Washingtonians can apply for the Working Families Tax Credit, which provides $300 to $1200, depending on circumstances, until December 31.
On Personal Income Tax returns, New Mexico taxpayers can claim $500 (or $1000 for joint filers). Residents can file their 2021 taxes until May 31, 2024. Online information shows that November filers may receive their money in December.
