Two of the most dangerous streets in the city, according to a published article by the Southwest Journal, are 79th Street and 63rd Street. These streets in Chicago have a history of gang-related conflicts, random acts of violence, and shootings.

Another one of the most unsafe streets in Chicago is Division Street which is known for its danger and unpredictability. Lake Shore Drive is also one of the most dangerous streets in Chicago due to high traffic volume and alarming accident rates.

Michigan Avenue is also one of the streets in Chicago that are best avoided due to its bustling nature and various factors that contribute to its high-risk level.

Locals and law enforcement advise avoiding these streets, especially at night. Despite efforts to curb crime in these areas, they continue to be hotspots for criminal activity.
