Park City’s Response to Growing Child Care Challenges

Park City Municipal recently earmarked $1 million to alleviate the burgeoning concerns surrounding childcare expenses, prompted by rising tuition fees and extensive waitlists reported by numerous families.

Following the expiration of federal pandemic-related childcare funding in 2023, Park City Council took proactive measures to address the pressing need for childcare support within the community.

The newly unveiled program is designed to offer two distinct scholarships catering to families’ diverse needs, accompanied by a financial incentive directed at childcare providers.
