Poland’s defense forces initially detected an unidentified object entering Polish airspace from the Ukrainian direction, vanishing from radar after a brief presence. General WiesĹ‚aw KukuĹ‚a affirmed that radar data, alongside NATO’s collaboration, confirmed the intrusion before the object’s departure.
Steps are underway to validate these findings and eliminate potential technical errors, while Polish authorities summoned the Russian charge d’affaires to seek clarification. Russia, however, responded by stating that Poland offered no evidence of breaching its borders, according to RIA Novosti.

U.S. national security adviser Jake Sullivan conversed with Poland’s National Security Bureau head, Jacek Siewiera, assuring unwavering support and technical assistance amid the reported missile entry. Sullivan highlighted President Joe Biden’s close attention to the unfolding incident.
The disappearance of the object from radar and its intended trajectory remained unclear, prompting heightened military efforts to locate it. Ukrainian officials underscored the severity of the aerial onslaught, labeling it one of the most extensive since Russia’s prior invasion in 2022.
Further investigations are ongoing to ascertain the exact nature of the airspace breach, emphasizing the collaborative efforts of NATO and U.S. authorities to address the incident.
