Former President Trump and President Biden Face Tough Challenge Securing Support in Crucial Counties

A new study says that former President Donald Trump and Vice President Joe Biden are having trouble with swing voters in important US counties. The Wall Street Journal says that Trump and Biden are likely to be the Republican and Democratic presidential choices for 2024. Interviews with voters in 25 key areas that have usually gone with the voters and backed the winner in the last four presidential elections show that swing voters aren’t behind either candidate.

Michigan’s Saginaw County, Pennsylvania’s Northampton County, and New Hampshire’s Hillsborough County residents have expressed disappointment in Biden’s presidential record, especially on the economy, and Trump’s bombastic attitude. Due to Trump and Biden’s likely candidacy, many refuse to vote. Many express disenchantment with national politics’ current course.

The 2020 presidential election was closed in all 25 counties, therefore the 2024 elections should be closed too. The residents said Biden must show energy and mental acuity for four more years, while Trump must show economic savvy and control his impulsivity to win.
