A Renwick Iowa man is facing charges of illegal possession of firearms.
A Renwick Iowa Man’s Criminal Charges
A Renwick Iowa man has been arrested and charged with three counts of possessing firearms as a convicted domestic abuser. The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a domestic disturbance, and when they arrived at the scene, the Renwick Iowa man involved did not cooperate.
They requested assistance from other law enforcement agencies and were eventually able to detain Lonney Tate, the Renwick Iowa man. Through their investigation, it was discovered that the Renwick Iowa man had a previous conviction for domestic abuse assault.
The Renwick Iowa man was taken to the Humboldt County Jail and held on a $15,000 cash bond, later modified to $1,500. The Renwick Iowa man has also been released on bond.
According to a published article by The Humboldt Independent, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by other agencies during the incident caused by the Renwick Iowa man. The Renwick Iowa man is considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
