Those with birthdays falling between the first and 10th, 11th and 20th, or 21st and 31st of the month will receive their February Social Security checks on the second, third, or fourth Wednesday of the month, respectively. SSI recipients will generally receive their February Social Security checks on the first of each month.

COLA Adjustment For 2024
In a published article by Money, the February Social Security checks will reflect a 3.2% cost-of-living adjustment for 2024, which is lower than last year’s increase but still above average due to inflation.
The average monthly payment for all beneficiaries was about $1,767 as of December 2023, and it is expected to increase by $50 a month in 2024.
Supplemental Security Income payments will be distributed on the first of the month, while Social Security payments for certain beneficiaries will be sent out on the second.
