Cities In Delaware To Know

Many Fortune 500 companies are incorporated in some of the cities in Delaware due to its lenient tax laws. The cities in Dealware’s tourism industry thrive, particularly at its beaches, like Rehoboth Beach, which is popular among politicians.

According to a published article by Travel Safe-Abroad, cities in Delaware ranked 21st in the country for crime rates, with a total of 26,046 reported crimes last year. One of the cities in Delaware, Dover, is home to around 40,000 people and serves as the center of government for the state.

Dover has a high crime rate, with 329 violent crimes and 1,549 property crimes reported last year. Millsboro, another one of the cities in Delaware, named for its historic saw and gristmills, is now a popular spot for water sports.

Laurel also one of the cities in Delaware that was once known for its potato farming industry, has many potato houses still standing. It has a population of around 4,600 and a high crime rate.

In a published article by AZCentral, Wilmington, another city in Delaware is known for its attractions such as the Hagley Museum and the Delaware Art Museum.

Newark is a smaller city located 16 miles from Wilmington and is known for its charming downtown district and bustling Main Street. It is home to the main campus of the University of Delaware.

Overall, these cities in Delaware offer a range of attractions and activities for visitors to enjoy.
