Theo Lengyel Arrested in Connection with Alyx Herrmann’s Disappearance
Herrmann’s disappearance was thoroughly investigated by Capitola Police and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, which arrested him. Human remains were found in a wooded area in Berkeley’s Tilden Regional Park. The Contra Costa Coroner’s Office will confirm DNA identification.
After a week without contact, Herrmann’s family reported her missing on December 12, 2023. Police found her automobile outside Lengyel’s house. Lengyel (Mylo Stone) drove from California to Oregon after her disappearance. Lengyel was a person of interest in El Cerrito police investigations due to his lack of cooperation.
