Criminal Past and Brazen Act

The 30-year-old Cliffside Park, New Jersey resident Luis Rosario is suspected of shooting three guys outside a Red Hook supermarket numerous times. He has a past felony record. Surveillance film shows Rosario brutally shooting a guy in the leg, forcing him to fall to the ground.

Rosario allegedly got into a vehicle and drove straight for the injured victim, running over his foot, in a brazen escalation. The shooting occurred during the day in the middle of onlookers, displaying a troubling lack of concern for human life.

The defendant, who was found guilty in 2016 of having dangerous contraband in prison, is currently being prosecuted on federal offenses, which carry a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
