SINCERA data breach

SINCERA Reproductive Medicine, a fertility clinic with four locations based in Pennsylvania, has agreed to compensate its customers with a settlement amounting to $1.2 million. The customers claim that the clinic failed to protect them from becoming victims of a data breach.

In 2021, SINCERA notified its clients about the potential exposure of their confidential information resulting from a data breach that took place between August 10, 2020, and September 13, 2020. However, as part of the settlement, the fertility clinic did not admit any wrongdoing, according to The US Sun.
