The $86.1 billion two-year budget was cleared by both chambers of the Republican-dominated Legislature, just hours before the legal deadline.

According to a report Ohio’s new budget will probably include almost $3 billion in income tax cuts and it will surely fund the universal school vouchers and many more.
The $86.1 billion for two years budget has already been passed by both chambers of the Republican lawmakers. Now, they need to extend the deadline for this one because they will send this to the office of Gov. Mike DeWine to have his final approval on this and to get possible positive vetoes.
The six-month process of this budget proposal is not over yet. Lawmakers are extending the deadlines to June 30 up until July 3. Final approval of Gov. DeWine is the only thing left in order to make it possible.

As of now, they still don’t have any idea when might this happen but in the meantime, we will wait until the extension ends, this will fund the state for 2 fiscal years. According to the Co-chairman of the budget conference committee, Sen. Matt Dolan that the budget meets the needs of the people in Ohio and this would probably make sure that the state would be a great place to start a new business and benefits the people. According to the report, the proposed tax will be funding education, some taxes, low-income families and children and many more also it would be an advantage for all the business sectors to expand more.
