Investigators said they discovered a decomposing body stuffed into a barrel that was floating near the shoreline of a South Carolina lake.
Missing Man’s Body Found Stuffed In Barrel Floating On A Lake, South Carolina Man Arrested
According to the authorities, a South Carolina man has been arrested after a man’s missing body was found stuffed in a barrel and floating on the South Carolina Lake.
Police in Cherokee County released a statement that South Carolina man Eric Shawn Fetzer, 25 years old was arrested for murdering and removing a human remains. This South Carolina man reported days after the body was found. The office of Spartanburg County Coroner that the dead body found in the lake was Jeffrey Sutphin 56-years-old and the police officer confirmed that this man was reported missing last June 15.
The missing man’s body was found in a submerged barrel ashore. The dead body had been inside the container for a number of days, they said that it is a foul play.

South Carolina Man Arrested After A Missing Man’s Body Found On A Lake Floating For Several Days
The South Carolina man may be 1 of the suspects but the officers thinks that there is still more. The Cherokee County coroner’s office has this South Carolina man who reported this man who is been missing and after interviewing the South Carolina man as a person of interest they found the dead body on the lake floating. Thursday, the South Carolina man’s arrest came after police officers with Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office joined both the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and the emergency management offices of Spartanburg County and Cherokee County in an investigation. Now, the investigation is still ongoing and they are now contacting the man’s family.
