The Biden Administration is proposing all-electric vehicles in the future as they believe that it will help to reduce emission production and have a sustainable environment in the country. However, some advocates are weighing in on the issue, calling the proposal “aggressive.”

Since the American president aims to reach his goal of increasing the rate of EVs in the country, the Biden Administration is pushing the transition of turning all cars into electric vehicles. 

According to the White House, the Biden Administration is making an effort in this proposal to increase the employment rate, support domestic manufacturers, boost the country’s competitiveness, etc. 

White House also revealed that due to the leadership of the Biden Administration, the total sales of electric vehicles in the country have increased.

Advocates Are Weighing In On The Proposal Made By the Biden Administration

Since the Biden Administration announced its proposal for the transition of cars to all-electric vehicles in the country, advocates have expressed their own opinions regarding the issue. 

With the proposal of the Biden Administration, some environmentalists and advocates showed their enjoyment when they heard the news. 

On the other hand, some advocates against electric vehicles also expressed their disappointment with the Biden Administration, calling the proposal “aggressive.”

According to Go Banking Rates, the Alliance for Automotive Innovation said that they do not believe the proposal made by the Biden Administration. 

They said that the president’s goals “can be met without substantially increasing the cost of vehicles, reducing consumer choice, and disadvantaging major portions of the United States population and territory,” as quoted in the report. 

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that the United Auto Workers also expressed their disagreement about the proposal.

They believe that the Biden Administration‘s proposal and the aim to change everything can have disastrous results and make a huge impact on the workers.
