Newborns Can Now Be Enrolled In The Texas Tuition Promise Fund, as TheKatyNews reports
Families in Texas have until July 31 to enroll their newborns in the Texas Tuition Promise Fund, the state’s prepaid college tuition program, at costs for 2022–2023 tuition. Participants in the Texas Tuition Promise Fund, excluding medical and dental schools, can buy tuition units to lock in the costs of undergraduate resident tuition and school-wide compulsory fees at Texas public colleges and universities, based on current pricing.
The Texas Tuition Promise Fund can also be used at Texas medical and dental facilities, Texas private colleges and universities, out-of-state colleges and universities, career schools, and registered apprenticeship programs, where tuition is not locked in; benefits and payouts would be based on the Transfer Value. This allows the plan more flexibility.
