In a fatal police shooting in eastern Wisconsin, a man displayed a weapon while officers are trying to arrest him at a gas station, police claimed.

In a report published by AP News, officers from the Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group encountered the unidentified 37-year-old guy at a petrol station in Neenah on Wednesday afternoon. Neenah is a community located about 100 miles (161 kilometers) northwest of Milwaukee where the fatal police shooting happened.
According to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, before the fatal police shooting, they attempted to apprehend him. According to a news statement from the sheriff’s office, a preliminary investigation “would suggest the subject displayed a weapon” before the fatal police shooting occurred.
The victim of the fatal police shooting later passed away from his wounds in a nearby hospital. According to authorities, no cops were hurt in the fatal police shooting.

In a recently published report from CBS Minnesota, when the man’s name would be made public and whether any of the shooting’s participants were put on administrative leave were also unknown. The sheriff’s office received a message from The Associated Press Thursday morning asking for more information regarding the fatal police shooting.
Because the task force is made up of numerous agencies from the counties of Outagamie, Winnebago, Fond du Lac, and Calumet as well as the state Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigations, the sheriff’s office said that it is looking into the fatal police shooting.
